The Reference 3B is the new top of the Baetis Audio line. It comes in a brand new chassis, available with or without optical drives. The Reference 3B features newer, faster processors, faster RAM, new motherboard and new options for audiophile outputs in coaxial SPDIF, I2S, DLNA Network. That means it can handle any DAC out there. The unique combination of our proprietary Reference daughterboard with EMI shield, linear power supply and attention to all cabling gives you the best digital sound you’ll ever hear.
Finally, it will offer discrete graphics cards as an option, providing the best possible video output in beautiful 4K HDR with built-in image processing to rival, and even exceed, stand-alone devices like those of Lumagen. The chassis is completely fanless, except in the case of some of the more powerful video options.
You can play native DSD via the optional SOtM USB output, as well as DoP or PCM through our AES-EBU connection. MQA is easily handled via Roon or Tidal, and any other streaming service such as Qobuz is a breeze to install. You can control the playback on the Baetis in a number of ways: tablet, phone, from another computer of any flavour, or even via a keyboard and trackpad transmitting directly to the Reference 3B.
The exceptional quality of our technology is recognized by some of the best companies in the business, such as Magico to show off their wares in award-winning rooms at high-end audio shows. The Reference 3 series is the ultimate digital audio player, and now it gives you the option of having the ultimate video playback quality too.
