Ex-Demo and Refurbished systems

Many of our customers upgrade to a newer Baetis system after a few years. We get some of their older units back, check them, replace anything that needs fixing, update the software and prep them for resale. This process allows customers on a very limited budget to get a great deal. Sometimes there may be cosmetic imperfections, but we do our best to communicate these. We can also upgrade the interior of some of these older systems to make a custom model that is more up to date. For example, we could take an older XR3 model and retrofit the chassis with the components from a Reference 2. The resulting system is sonically the same as the Reference 2, but may come in our older styling, for a significant saving over the newer Baetis. The refurbished systems come with a one year warranty and 5 hours of phone support.

Revolution II: Retrofitted with our daughterboard and customized. $1500

Reference 2: Black chassis. $5600 for base unit. Add $600 for Stillpoints and/or $1550 for SotM USB + clock card and Cryosilver USB cabling and/or $1500 for 300W linear power supply unit and audiophile grade DC power cord. This is an early Reference 2 unit with 6th generation i7 CPU.

Prodigy X: Black chassis. $3600 for base unit including shipping. This is upgraded with a 7th generation i7 CPU and 32 GB of RAM, to rival our Reference series. Can be upgraded to Revolution X status for an additional $600.

Prodigy X2 Clearance price: $4000

The Prodigy X2 brought the Prodigy line to a level beyond our Revolution III mid end models. The Baetis Prodigy daughterboard produces an unrivalled AES-EBU and SPDIF signal. The mid-size chassis also allows a number of additional options such as a linear power supply and outputs such as I2S and JCAT or SOtM USB.  With a fast 8th or 9th generation i5 processor, the Prodigy X2 is more than capable of handling all streaming services and produces the beautiful Baetis sound.

Revolution X2 Clearance price: $5000

The Revolution X2 bridged the gap between our Prodigy and Reference models. It shares the Reference daughterboard with our Reference models, which produce an even cleaner AES-EBU and SPDIF signal than our Prodigy models. Cryo-treated Revelation Audio Labs audio and power cables push the Revolution X2 ever closer to the Reference pinnacle. The mid-size chassis also allows a number of additional options such as a linear power supply and outputs such as I2S and JCAT or SOtM USB.  With a fast 8th or 9th generation i5 processor, upgradable to an i7 CPU, the Revolution X2 is more than capable of handling all streaming services and produces the beautiful Baetis sound.

Reference 2B $10,400

Before the Reference 3 and Reference X3 came out, the Reference 2B was the flagship model.
